If your dog shows any signs of illness, please respect your fellow students and do NOT come to class. If your dog has had worms or kennel cough, please let us know and do not return to class until your vet has cleared your dog. We reserve the right to request confirmation from your vet that your dog is healthy enough to return to class.
Day Training Clients
If the dog has not attended any of our classes or programs, an evaluation MUST be scheduled prior to registering for any of the Day Training programs: Mind Your Manners, Puppy Prep School and Day of Play. We need to ensure that each day training program is an appropriate fit for the dog before enrollment.
Due to the popularity of our Day Training sessions, we must receive a notice of cancellation at least 24 hours before your registered session to have your credit available for another date. If you cancel within 24 hours, we cannot guarantee that your credit will be restored to your account,
Hours are defined for each day program. Early drop off or late pick up may be arranged in advance for an additional fee. Please contact us if you need to extend the time of your day program.
Instructors reserve the right to excuse any dog or handler which may be a danger to themselves or others, is not in control, seems ill or injured or is disruptive to the class.
Some classes have minimum age and/or instructional requirements before a student should register. For example, a dog should complete a minimum of a Basic Obedience Class before attending the Pet Therapy Prep Class. If you have questions about the requirements, please contact us.
Your spot in a class or clinic is not secured until payment has been processed. Paying online through Paypal is the easiest method. If you do not have Paypal, My Dog’s Got Class can send an electronic invoice and clients can pay via any major credit card or can mail/drop off a check to the school.
If the minimum enrollment for a class is not met, the session may be rescheduled by My Dog’s Got Class. You will be contacted via e-mail to see if you would like to remain enrolled in the rescheduled class or receive credit toward a future service.
Class and Clinic Cancellations
Payment secures your spot in the class/clinic. If you have paid and find you cannot attend your scheduled class, you must give at least 1 week's notice before the start date to receive a refund less a processing fee. Or we can work with you to schedule you for another class. No refunds are given or transfers made once class has begun.
Class Make Ups
We realize that sometimes life happens and you might miss a class. While we do have a curriculum for each class, we tend to customize the lessons for the individual class/students. Sitting in on another class would not guarantee you would see the particular lesson provided in the class you missed. Therefore, make-up sessions in other classes are NOT permitted. We do not offer credits for missed sessions. Our instructors will try to make arrangements to meet with you before or after your next class to review the lesson missed. See weather cancellation for classes that could be cancelled by us.
Because registration is limited and spots fill up fast, we do not issue refunds for class withdrawals. If a dog is unable to complete class due to an injury or illness during enrollment, you will receive a pro-rated credit towards a future class.
Sometimes we cancel a class or playgroup or training session based on the weather. Please note that a cancellation might not necessarily be based solely on Bridgewater weather but where our trainers are coming from. Those people registered for a class, day training or play group WILL be emailed as soon as the determination is made to cancel the class. We also post weather closures on our Facebook page.
A class session cancelled by MDGC will result in the entire series being postponed to the following week, thereby extending the final class date another week. If a day training session is cancelled by MDGC, we will restore the credit to your account to use for another day training session.
